What Happens in Vegas… Now On Norfolk Street

Wedding Chapel by Grand Opening

Ah, Summer.

Love is in the air. White weddings.

And now, thanks to the creative minds behind the interactive storefront Grand Opening… a Vegas-style wedding can be yours at Wedding Chapel. Allow us to explain: the ever-evolving space at 139 Norfolk Street (you may remember it previously as a ping-pong parlor and a drive-in movie theater) is getting a major makeover for wedding season and for those looking for a recession-friendly and light-hearted way to bind the knot, renew vows, or, you know, pretend to marry.

The soon-to-open venue is all about intimacy: wedding-inspired, hand-painted wall murals, seating for twenty people, an ordained minister to perform services, custom décor and accessories and, for some good make-believe measure, scenic backdrops of exotic places such as a beach and a forest. The best part, though, is that for $500 you are guaranteed a two-hour ceremony and reception, along with a DJ and personal photographer, without the crazy mob of A-list acquaintances.

As for the honeymoon… that’s up to you.
