Take Operations, SoHo’s hottest new men’s store. Combining industrial chic and a flair for detail, the trio of Matteo Gottardi, Michael Leen, and Johannes Mahmood have perfected the art of fashionable street-wear. It helps that their well-edited collection of tees, jackets, and pants are authentic and sourced from all over the world (can you say limited edition).

It also helps that the store’s rugged charm was designed by Brady Wilcox, who also happened to design John Varvatos’ space down the block. Both stores are a mixture of raw and open space but it is Operations’ interiors that steal the show.

Marx would be so proud.
